ZACO X1000
Below are some common questions about the ZACO X1000
What is the battery lifespan?
Our lithium-ion batteries are produced by the renowned market leader "BYD" and offer an impressive lifespan of around 2000 charge cycles. With daily use (once a day), you can expect a lifespan of approximately 5.5 years.
How accurate is the mapping function, and does the robot store multiple floorplans?
A modern cleaning robot creates a map of its environment using sensors like LIDAR, cameras, or infrared sensors by recognizing obstacles and determining its position.
SLAM technology (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) allows the robot to locate itself in unknown spaces while simultaneously creating an accurate map. This enables the robot to navigate efficiently in dynamic environments and adapt to changes.
The ZACO X1000 creates and stores up to three different floor plans (maps), which can be switched in seconds via the display.
What is the maximum range per charge on an open area?
The ZACO X1000 can cover areas up to 2000 m² per map and cleans up to 1000 m² in a single charge—ideal for large and demanding cleaning tasks.
What type of filter is used, and how often does it need to be replaced?
The robot is equipped with two powerful filtration systems: a cyclone filter that efficiently separates dirt and dust with no wear, though it should be cleaned regularly.
Additionally, the robot has a HEPA13 filter, which needs to be cleaned regularly depending on the frequency of use and level of dirt. For optimal performance, we recommend changing the filter every 3 months.
What is the size of the dust or dirt bin?
The dustbin has a capacity of 3 liters, meaning the larger tank needs to be emptied less often, thus improving the efficiency of the cleaning process.
How easy is it to obtain spare parts like brushes or filters?
Spare parts can be quickly and easily ordered here
Does the robot have a charging station, and is it capable of returning to the station when the battery is low?
The ZACO X1000 comes with a charging station included as standard. If the robot is unable to cover the entire area during a cleaning task, it will automatically return to the station, recharge, and then resume cleaning from the same spot to complete the task.
What types of floors is the robot best suited for?
Thanks to its two innovative suction modules – the "Roller Module" and the "Direct Suction Module" – the ZACO X1000 is suitable for cleaning all types of flooring.
Is there a dustbin fill level indicator?
Once the dustbin is full, the robot automatically notifies you that it needs to be emptied.
Is it possible to program the robot and set schedules?
The robot has a "Schedule Mode" that allows you to set the start time for cleaning. Additionally, in "Schedule Mode," you can schedule specific areas and spot cleaning at designated times.
Is WiFi or app control available?
The ZACO X1000 has the "ZACOHome" app, which can be downloaded from any app store. The app is not mandatory, as the ZACO X1000 can operate offline.
What warranty conditions does the manufacturer offer?
We offer a 2-year warranty on the ZACO X1000. For the batteries, we provide a 1-year warranty.
Are data about the cleaning process (e.g., cleaned area, time spent) accessible?
Cleaning logs and all relevant information, such as the cleaned area and cleaning time, can be viewed directly in the robot's settings. Alternatively, this data can also be conveniently accessed through the app.
What maintenance measures are regularly required?
Regular maintenance of the robot is essential to ensure optimal cleaning performance. Depending on the location, the roller brushes, HEPA13 filter, cyclone filter, and dustbin should be cleaned weekly or daily. This ensures the robot's performance remains at its highest level.
Is the robot future-proof (e.g., through software updates)?
We are constantly working to improve our robots and incorporate feedback into regular, free updates. This ensures that our devices are always up to date with the latest technology.
Can the robot avoid specific areas, such as by using virtual walls or no-go zones?
There are two options to avoid specific areas: Virtual Walls and No-Go Zones. Both can be easily set up and saved via the display.
What are the technical requirements for the charging station?
The charging station requires a 230V power supply and sufficient space for installation. There should be a 30 cm (about 12 inches) clearance on both sides of the station. This area should always be kept clear to ensure the robot can enter and exit the station without any issues.
Does the robot have a bump or fall protection for stairs and edges?
The ZACO X1000 is equipped with multiple sensors to reliably prevent collisions. Additionally, a 6-point fall protection ensures that the robot will not accidentally drive down the stairs.
What is the maximum noise level of the device during operation?
The robot operates at a noise level of only 62 dB, making it suitable for use during normal working hours without disturbing the work environment.
What area performance (m²/h) can the robot achieve, and how long is the battery life?
The ZACO X1000 cleans up to 250 m² per hour under optimal conditions. In "Energy Save Mode," the robot can achieve a battery life of up to 6 hours.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
A full charging cycle from 0% to 100% typically takes about 5 hours.
What type of sensors does the robot use for obstacle avoidance and navigation?
The ZACO X1000 is equipped with the most advanced safety and navigation systems.
By combining 2D LiDAR, ToF sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and a dual camera, this robot ensures safe and reliable cleaning, even in challenging environments.
Can the suction power be adjusted?
The ZACO X1000 offers four preset suction power levels: Energy Saving, Normal, Strong, and MAX. Additionally, it features a "Personalized" function, allowing you to adjust all parameters to your specific needs.
Is the robot certified for commercial use?
The ZACO X1000 is officially certified for commercial use and meets all necessary requirements for professional operation.
Can the robot operate overnight, and how does it perform in low light conditions?
The ZACO X1000 is ideal for overnight operation as it relies on LiDAR and other high-precision sensors for navigation, which work reliably regardless of lighting conditions. It cleans efficiently and safely, even in complete darkness.
